Longtime Warner Brothers animator Bob Clampett took a break from Bugs and Yosemite Sam to direct this wartime short. Staggeringly offensive and animated/directed with Clampett's usual virtuosity. Certainly not defensible by today's standards, but perhaps a reminder of just how hypersensitive we've become. This is the stuff our parents were watching, folks. A far cry from this...
